Ennovate Hub partnered with The United Nations International Trade Centre, National Economic Empowerment Council and GIZ to implement COVID-19 Innovation Challenge and Business Continuity Project for 11 start-ups. The Project started with a virtual hackathon where participating start-ups got matched to expert mentors to improve their business concept, then the start-ups pitched online.

We selected 2 winners that we awarded $5,000 each to help them navigate through the impact of COVID-19 on their business. The 11 start-ups then joined a 2-month business continuity Project, where they supported restructuring their business model to become more resilient and build their team’s capacity to adopt digital solutions in their day-to-day business operations.
